A man has been arrested in Llandovery following an allegation of rape (Wednesday, August 3).
The officers were present for several hours in the town, as an area was cordoned off.
As police continue their investigation, they have confirmed that a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson from Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are investigating an allegation of rape in the Llandovery area yesterday (August 3).
“A man has been arrested and remains in police custody. Enquiries are ongoing.”
