MEMORIALS in Ammanford Cemetery will be inspected next month to ensure that they are safe.
A notice placed in the South Wales Guardian on August 3 advises that a number of memorials will be inspected to ensure they remain in a stable condition.
From September 19, there will be inspections and cyclic testing carried out on memorial stones in sections D, F, H and J.

Any memorials that are in a dangerous condition will be fitted with a temporary support if it is possible.
