TWO people from Pontarddulais and the Swansea Valley have appeared in court on speeding charges.
Nicola Carlisle, 49, of St Teilo Street, Pontarddulais, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on June 21.
She was caught on January 5 doing 40mph on Heol Y Mynydd, Gorseinon, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £220 and given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Robert Brian Elliston, 78, of Dolfaen, Ystradgynlais, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on June 23.
He was caught on December 20 doing 39mph on Ynysmeudwy Road, Pontardawe, where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £40 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
