A NUMBER of people from the Amman Valley have been fined for speeding recently.
Carly Marie Peploe, 39, of Derwydd Avenue, Gwaun Cae Gurwen, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 27.
She was caught on January 12 doing 36mph on A483 Talardd Villas near Ffairfach, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £40 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Jonathan James Waine, 43, of Erwr Brenhinoedd, Llandybie, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 22.
He was caught on December 23 doing 35mph on A476 Gorslas, where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £60 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge.

Matthew Stephen Wrigley, 47, of Folland Road, Garnant, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 27.
He was caught on January 13 doing 35mph on A476 Carmel North, where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £40 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Andrew Hall Taylor, 38, of Cwmamman Road, Garnant, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Swansea Magistrates Court on June 23.
He was caught on October 12 doing 47mph on A4067 Godre-R-Graig junction Craig Newydd, where the limit is 40mph. He was fined £100 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge.
