Llandovery became a hub of celebration last Saturday when the town hosted a Pride event that was bursting with fun from dawn to dusk.

The event was organised by the Heart of Wales LGBTQ+ hwb and involved a packed day of activites for the whole family.

Events kicked off with a parade through the town that was laden with stalls and food.

There followed a family picnic in the castle park as well as a drag storytime in the castle ruins and children's activities.

A soapbox continued throughout the afternoon enabling people to discuss their queer contemporary issues.

Llandovery Pride culminated with 'An Eve with Beave' with entertainment form Llandovery's very own drag artist,  Miss Beaver.
