A number of motorists from the Ammanford area have been in court recently for driving offences.

Jessica Marie Parkin, 37, of Greenfield Road, Twyn, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 8.

She was caught on December 5 doing 41mph on A476 Gorslas, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £80 and given four points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Lynwen Barbara Phillips, 37, of Margaret Street, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 8.

She was caught on December 5 doing 36mph on A476 Gorslas, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £40 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Marina Louisa Anne Rowe, 32, of Lon y Felin, Garnswllt, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 6.

She was caught on December 1 doing 26mph on Dafen Road, where the limit is 20mph. She was fined £55 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Iris Josephine Davies, 65, of Iscennen Road, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 8.

She was caught on December 5 doing 36mph on A476 Gorslas, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £199 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Kevin Greene, 55, of Maesquarre Road, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Bath Magistrates Court on June 6.

He was caught on October 29 doing 58mph on the M4, J20 to J19 eastbound, where the limit is 50mph. He was fined £58 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

David Jonathan Armstrong, 46, of Cwmamman Road, Garnant, admitted speeding at Newport Magistrates Court on June 8.

He was caught on December 12 doing 65mph on A467 near Tregwilym Road flyover, where the limit is 50mph. He was fined £36 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Riza Erunak, 36, of Tanyfan, Ammanford, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on June 1.

He was caught on December 2 doing 48mph on A4119 Mwyndy Cross Pontyclun, where the limit is 40mph. He was fined £220 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Claire Waters, 55, of Caerbryn, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on June 13.

She was caught on December 23 doing 37mph on Carmarthen Road, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £146 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Steven Gill, 27, of Clos yr Afon, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Bodmin Magistrates Court on June 6.

He was caught on October 13 doing more than the 30mph speed limit on the A386 Alma Road in Plymouth. He was fined £40 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Janet John, 63, of Mynyddbach Tycroes, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 8.

She was caught on December 4 doing 35mph on A476 Gorslas, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £92 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Manuela Stettler, 46, of Penybanc Road, Ammanford, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 8.

She was found to have committed the offence on January 6 by not providing information relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle believed to have been involved in an offence to Dyfed Powys Police. She was fined £660 and given six points on her licence. She also had to pay £66 surcharge and £90 costs.
