A CEMETERY in the Amman Valley will be inspected to ensure all headstones and memorials are safe.
Ammanford Cemetery will be the focus of the investigation from July 11 according to a public notice placed by Carmarthenshire County Council in the South Wales Guardian on Wednesday, June 8.
The inspection is part of health and safety legislation which requires councils to inspect all memorials and headstones in cemeteries to ensure that they are in a safe and stable condition.
