A 58-year-old cyclist has been pronounced dead after his bike was involved in a single vehicle fatal road collision in Garnant last Friday night, May 6.
The cyclist, who has not been named, sustained serious injuries following the collision which occurred outside Discovery Book Shop, Cwmamman Road, at around 8.45pm.
He was conveyed to hospital but this morning, (Monday, May 9), Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that he has died.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the cyclist at the relevant time or who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
Local residents and business owners are also asked to contact police if they have any CCTV footage covering the location.
