AN AMMANFORD woman has been fined for driving a car with a child passenger not wearing a seatbelt.
Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard Rebecca Jones, of Parc Penrhiw, Betws, was driving a Volkswagen Golf on October 7 last year, carrying in the rear seat of the car a child under the age of 14 who was not wearing a seatbelt.
The offence took place on Bryngwili Road, Llanelli.
Jones was fined £220 and ordered to pay a £44 surcharge to fund victim services and £90 costs.
The 30-year-old was also fined a further £220 for driving without a valid MOT on the car.
