PUDSEY bear will once again be visiting schools in the Ammanford area virtually this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
With the BBC Children in Need appeal fast approaching, Ammanford Lions club members have come up with a plan where children can still see their favourite bear.
Pudsey has been filmed shopping for baking essentials and a video, which will be shown in schools, will see Pudsey baking cakes to sell for Children in Need.
You can see the video YouTube by searching Ammanford Lions Pudsey Bear.
Rhian Thomas of Ammanford Lions Club said: “Once again this year Ammanford Lions are unable to visit schools with Pudsey Bear. But like last year they’ve come up with a solution and have recorded Pudsey’s efforts to bake cakes to sell for Children in Need.
"Staff in schools and other educational premises will be able to share the video with their children.
“Pudsey will be seen shopping at A to Z Convenience Store then baking and selling cakes.”
Children in Need is on Friday, November 19 and the 2021 theme is ‘Together, We Can’.
