A LLANDYBIE man must pay more than £800 in a fine and costs after failing to identify the driver of a vehicle thought to have committed an offence.

David Andrews, of Rawlings Road, Llandybie, failed to give information of the driver of a Ford Puma, alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

The 48-year-old found the case against him proved under the single procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on October 15.

He was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £90 costs.

His driving licence was endorsed with six points.

A charge of speeding at 87mph in a 70mph zone between junction 48 and Pont Abraham on April 18, was dismissed.
