A MAN from Ammanford has been jailed for 10 weeks after he failed to comply with a community order.
Barry Llewellyn, of Myddynfych, Ammanford, failed to attend an appointment with the responsible officer, a requirement of a community order made by Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
The order was originally imposed on May 5 for offences including assaulting a woman by beating her and breaching a restraining order.
The 40-year-old admitted the breach at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court and was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison.
