A WOMAN has been sentenced after she was found guilty of assault.

Lewis pleaded not guilty to the charge.
However, she was found guilty at a Llanelli Magistrates’ Court hearing on July 7 and she was handed a 12-month community order.
This included a requirement to complete up to 25 days of rehabilitation activity.
Lewis was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £620 court costs, a £95 surcharge and £50 compensation.
