AN AMMANFORD man has landed himself a fine and points on his licence for driving a car without insurance.

Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard Farrell Orchard, of Wind Street, Ammanford, was driving a Ford Fiesta, on Barry Road, with no insurance in force covering the use of the vehicle.

The 27-year-old entered a guilty plea under the single justice procedure on June 18.

He was fined £237, ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs. Her licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
