Power cut in Penrith affects multiple homes
A power cut in Penrith has left multiple homes without electricity this evening.
In total, 15 customers were left without power from around 15:35 when the situation was first reported.
The following postcodes were affected by the power cut: CA10 2JB, CA10 2LG, CA10 2LS, CA10 2LT, CA10 2NA, CA10 2LX, CA10 2NY, CA10 2PJ.
Staff are on site and the power cut is expected to be restored by 22:30.
On the Electricity North West website, it was stated: "The power cut in your area has been caused by an unexpected incident on our high voltage cable which provides electricity to your property."
