A Capel Hendre motorist caught driving without insurance in Ammanford must pay more than £300 in a fine and costs.
Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard Melanie John, of Parc Avenue, Capel Hendre, was driving a Renault Scenic, on Station Road, Ammanford, with no insurance in force covering use of the vehicle.
The 46-year-old pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure on May 4.
She was fined £184, ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs. Her licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
