AN arrest warrant has been issued for a Garnant man who failed to appear at court to face charges of assault and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
Oliver Reid, of Cwmamman Road, Garnant, failed to appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court where he was charged with assaulting a woman by beating her and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, with intent to cause that person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against two other people.
He was also charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
Magistrates issued an arrest warrant without bail for the 29-year-old.
