A HENDY pensioner has been fined for driving without due care and attention.

Angela Clement, of Bronallt Road, Hendy, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates on April 8, when she admitted driving a Vauxhall Astra at Cross Hands without due care and attention.

The 73-year-old was also charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident within 24 hours, and failing to provide details at the scene.

Clement pleaded guilty to all charges against her and was fined a total of £160, ordered to pay £110 court costs, £34 victim surcharge and her licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
