Llanelli Magistrates' Court
A LLANDYBIE man has been fined for drugs possession.
Jonathan Harris, of Maespiode, Llandybie, admitted possessing 16.47 grams of class B drug cannabis on January 28 in Llandybie.
Taking the defendant’s guilty plea into account when imposing sentence, the 21-year-old was fined £120 at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge, along with £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Magistrates ordered the cannabis to be forfeited under the section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and destroyed.
