TWO lambs were killed in a dog attack at Dinefwr Park – prompting fresh calls for owners to follow the countryside code.
The National Trust Dinefwr has requested that dog walkers keep their animals under control after a dog entered a field of sheep at Dinefwr Park, Llandeilo, leaving one ewe with serious wounds and killed two lambs.
Speaking after the incident, which took place over the weekend, a spokesperson said: “Sadly, there was an incident at Dinefwr over the weekend, where a dog entered a field of sheep leaving one ewe with serious wounds and fatally injuring two lambs.
“If you're walking through Dinefwr parkland, please follow the countryside code and keep dogs under control or on a lead around livestock.”
