A DRINK-driver has been banned from the road for 14 months.
Robert Hibberd, of Darren Las, Upper Tumble, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Focus on the A48 at Nantycaws over the drink-drive limit.
At Llanelli Magistrates’ Court, the bench heard Hibberd had 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 25.
The bench took the defendant’s guilty plea into account when imposing sentence.
As well as the 14-month driving ban, the 36-year-old was fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services and £85 Crown Prosecution costs.
