A GLANAMAN motorist was caught driving after taking amphetamines, a court has heard.
Cindy Lee Stone had previously entered a not guilty plea at an earlier hearing but changed her plea to guilty when she appeared before magistrates in Llanelli on January 21.
The court heard Stone had been caught behind the wheel of a Renault Twingo at Betws Road, Ammanford on November 28.
Blood tests revealed the 53-year-old had 365 microgrammes of class B drug amphetamine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 250.
Stone, of Maesyglyn, Glanaman, was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £144. She must also pay costs of £200 and a £32 victim surcharge.
