AN AMMANFORD man must pay more than £500 after he was caught speeding in Tycroes.
David Geraint Thomas, of Parklands Road, found the case against him proved under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on January 13.
The bench heard how the 54-year-old was driving a Ssangyong Korando on Hendre Road, Tycroes, on October 30 last year at a speed of 50mph in a 30mph zone.
Thomas was fined £440 and ordered to pay a £44 victim services surcharge and £90 costs, totalling £574. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
