A TEENAGE boy remains in hospital following a crash with a car in Capel Hendre.

Police have made a fresh appeal as they continue to investigate the incident, which occurred at around 8.35pm on Sunday, January 10 at Capel Hendre Square.

The crash involved a 15-year-old boy who was riding his bike and a blue Audi car.

The teenage boy was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in hospital.

The serious collision unit are investigating the circumstances around the incident and are looking to speak to the occupants of a people carrier, which was travelling towards Ammanford on the B4297, Waterloo Road, just moments before the collision.

They would also like to speak to the occupants of a car that had stopped at the crossroads, travelling from Lotwen Road, seconds after the collision occurred.

A police spokesperson said: "Were you in the area at the time? Were you travelling in the people carrier or in a vehicle travelling from Lotwen Road at the time? If so please contact the police."
