A Cefneithin motorist must pay £100 and has had three points added to his licence, after admitting speeding in Carmarthen.
Benjamin Oliver Hicks, of Heol y Gigfran, Cefneithin, was caught driving his Ford Transit Van at 71mph in a 60mph zone on the A48, Nantycaws Junction.
The 31-year-old did not appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 6, but entered a guilty plea under the single justice procedure.
Magistrates took Hicks’ guilty plea into account when passing sentence. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge.
His licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
