A GARNANT motorist must pay £394 and has had five points added to his licence, after admitting speeding in Carmarthen.
Nathan Scott Evans, of Maes yr Hendre, Garnant was caught driving his Mercedes Sprinted at 86mph in a 60mph zone on the A40, Bancyfelin, Carmarthen.
The 22-year-old did not appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 6, but entered a guilty plea under the single justice procedure.
Magistrates took Evans’ guilty plea into account when passing sentence. He was fined £270 and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
His licence was endorsed with five penalty points.
