A Penygroes motorist has been fined and points on his licence for speeding on the A40.
Jonathan Brain, of Gors Ddu Road, Penygroes pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure to driving a Vauxhall Vivaro on the A40, Carmarthen on August 24, at a speed of 85mph in a 60mph zone.
Llanelli Magistrates fined the 56-year-old £80 and ordered he pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs. His licence was endorsed with five penalty points.
