A camping trip to Pendine proved costly for one Llandybie man who was convicted under the single justice procedure of breaking lockdown restrictions.
At Llanelli Magistrates Court on Wednesday Ben Philip Bush, aged 32, of Ammanford Road was charged with leaving or remaining away from his home on May 15 without reasonable excuse during the emergency period when he travelled to Pendine to go camping.
He was fined £660 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £85 – 811 in total.
