VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help clear the grounds at Saron hall.

The grounds, which include the Coed Llety Gwyn woodlands, is owned by Saron Welfare Association. Members are calling on younger members of the community to help with the hard labour.

Volunteer, Siwla said: "Unfortunately, over the years the grounds has become too overwhelming for our aged members to keep up with. We have made a start but are looking for volunteers, a little younger than ourselves, to help with some of the heavier clearing.

"The Saron Brownie pack have helped out planting containers of bulbs for us around the hall building."

Volunteers are asked to take along their own gardening tools and equipment.

Siwla added: "Our work schedule is ruled by both the weather and Covid-19 regulations. As we are outside we are able to work at a distance from each other."

If anyone is interested in getting involved or can donate gardening equipment, please contact Siwla on 07527312462 .
