A TYCROES man has been banned and ordered to carry out unpaid work after admitting to drug-driving and criminal damage.

Adrian Parker, of Parc Gwernen, Tycroes, pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court to damaging the caged cell of a police vehicle in Ammanford on November 22.

The 46-year-old also admitted to driving a Vauxhall Astra in Tycroes whilst unfit to drive through drugs on the same date.

Parker admitted a third charge of damaging a drain pipe and flower pots at a property in Ammanford.

He was banned from driving for 14 months and must carry out 160 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order over the next twelve months.

The courts also ordered him to a pay compensation, court cost and a victim surcharge totalling £570.
