A CEFNEITHIN woman has been fined by magistrates for breaking the first coronavirus lockdown rules.
Tracey Ward, of Heol y Parc, found the case against her proved in her absence under the single justice procedure at Llanelli magistrates’ court.
The court heard that Ward was caught on May 23, at Pontyberem, away from the place where she was living during the emergency period without reasonable excuse, having travelled to her partner’s address.
Magistrates fined the 39-year-old £660, with a surcharge of £66 and £85 court costs, giving a total of £811.
