A FORMER tearoom near Cumbria's popular Center Parcs resort could be converted into a home, if new plans for its development are approved.
A planning application has been submitted to Eden Council for the conversion of the former tearoom on the site of the Hazel Dene Garden Centre close to Penrith into a residential property.
The tearoom has been closed since November last year, and is not currently in use. The planning application has been supported by Culgaith Parish Council, within which the former tearoom lies.
Anyone who wishes to make an observation regarding this planning application has until October 30 in which to submit a comment to Eden Council.
Observations and comments of support or objection can be made to Eden Council via the local authority’s website, eden.gov.uk.
People can visit the website’s planning section for more information.
