The Carmarthenshire Disability Coalition for Action is strongly advising all who were shielders during the first wave of the coronavirus infection to return to shielding as the second wave commences.
"It is not worth the risk of waiting until Friday evening when the Senedd restrictions begin.
"Disabled People can not afford to be complacent while the infection rate is rising throughout Wales, right now," said Clive Poulton, the group's chairperson.
"We want to warn people about the need to start shielding immediately to prevent disabled people from contracting the virus and consequently being at risk of losing their lives.
"This really is a matter of life or death. "
