A TYCROES man has been left with a bill of more than £1,000 for failing to identify the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Robert Ian Freeman, of Fforestfach, Tycroes, entered a not guilty plea at Llanelli magistrates court but found the case against him proved in his absence on October 9.
The 30-year-old failed to identify the drive of a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
He was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim services surcharge and £300 Crown Prosecution services costs.
He was also given six points on his licence.
A charge of speeding on Carmarthen Road, Fforest, Llanelli, on February 20 was dismissed.
