POLICE have seized the car of a motorist in Barrow.
Officers said a man had been caught driving without a licence or insurance in the town.
Roads officers said he had gone out to buy building supplies he had forgotten to order.
They seized the small red hatchback.
Cumbria Roads Police said on Twitter: "The driver of this vehicle was out buying some building supplies that he forgot to order. He also forgot he had no licence or insurance."
The seizure was made as part of the police's Operation Hurricane.
