AN LLANDEILO man must pay more than £800 in a fine and costs after failing to identify the driver of a vehicle thought to have committed an offence.
William Jones, of Broad Oak, Llandeilo, failed to give information of the driver of a Nissan Nv200, alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
The 62-year-old entered found the case against him proved under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ on October 7.
He was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 surcharge and £90 costs.
His driving licence was endorsed with six points.
A charge of speeding at 39mph in a 30mph zone on A476, Carmel on April 30, was dismissed.
