AN AMMANFORD man must pay more than £800 in a fine and costs after failing to identify the driver of a vehicle thought to have committed an offence.
Steven Jones, of Dyffryn Road, Ammanford, failed to give information of the driver of a Peugeot Partner 850, alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
The 47-year-old found the case against him proved under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
He was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
His driving licence was endorsed with six points.
A charge of speeding at 72mph in a 60mph zone on the A40 Nantyci, Carmarthen, on February 14, was dismissed.
