A YOUNG woman has been left red-faced after getting stuck in a child's swing.
Firefighters were called to a park in Gwaun cae Gurwen on Thursday evening (July 30) to a young lady who was trapped in a swing.
Fortunately the Amman Valley crew were able to free her.
It comes as firefighters across the country are reporting a spike in the number of young people caught in swings designed for toddlers.
Reports are that young people are getting trapped in the swings while filming for video sharing platform TikTok.
A spokesman for Amman Valley fire service said: "Another successful rescue by the crews this evening. A young lady managed to get herself stuck in the swings in Gwaun cae Gurwen.
"The crew managed to remove her safely without any tools.
"No injuries and a good giggle for all."
