A TYCROES driver has been banned from the roads for 12 months.
Caitlyn Louise Rees, of Parc Gwernen, Tycroes pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol after being stopped in a Kia Picanto, at Pontyberem on July 11.
Rees had 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
As well as a 12 month driving ban, Llanelli magistrates fined the motorist £425 and was ordered to pay £42 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
The driving ban may be reduced by 13 weeks if, by February 26, 2021, Rees completes an approved driving course.
