BRYNAMMAN cinema is set to reopen to the public.

It comes as cinemas, museums and beauty salons in Wales have been given the green light to reopen from Monday.

Brynamman cinema hopes to reopen to film buffs on Friday, August 7.

A spokesperson said: "We're very excited to be reopening on Friday, August 7. This date is an achievable goal for us as we feel that general preparation is going well, and we're progressing nicely with the introduction of safety measures and adaptations around the building.

"Safety measures are in place to protect both you and us when we reopen and we're working hard to get everything in order ready for a successful reopening.

"We've missed our customers so much, and can't wait to see them all again soon."

Visit the cinema's website brynammancinema.org for a full list of safety changes.

The spokesperson added: "These changes are for the sustainable operation of our business during these tough times.

"As things gradually get back to normal, we'll work in accordance with government guidelines to adapt and ease restrictions around the venue when we're allowed to do so, and when we deem that it's safe for both our staff and customers."
