A TEENAGE boy pulled from a river in Ystradgynlais was under the influence of alcohol, police say.
Ystradgynlais officers have issued a stark warning to parents following the incident on Thursday, July 23.
The 13-year-old boy is said to be safe and well.
Ystradgynlais police said: "A 13-year-old boy has been pulled out of a river in Ystradgynlais, who was under the influence of alcohol.
"Thankfully he is now safe.
"Parents are strongly urged to make sure they know of their children's whereabouts and advise them of the dangers associated with alcohol."
