PEOPLE in Carmarthenshire are being urged to keep an eye on their garden ornaments following a spate of thefts across the region.

From June 23 to July 2, thieves have targeted homes and stole items including two large ornamental sheep at Black Lion Road, Cross Hands.

A pair of foo dogs/Chinese dragons were taken from Ty Llwyd, Cefneithin and a concrete boy and girl from a garden in the Talley area.

The thieves also hit Trimsaran and Llwynhendy areas, as well as Foelgastell, where items taken included a two foot flower planter.

Two large horse head garden ornaments from gate pillars were also taken from Llanddarog Road.
