A MACHETE attacker who nearly chopped his victim's hand off, a paedophile who sexually assaulted two girls in a corner shop and an arsonist who set fire to his girlfriend's flat were among the Warrington criminals brought to justice in June.

Other defendants appearing in June included a serial offender who burgled a primary school, a published author who attacked a police officer with his own baton and a knifeman who was in a relationship with his own niece.
