THE Halliwell Jones Stadium is rocking again after a band used Warrington Wolves’ home ground as the setting for its latest music video.

Rockers Havoc51 took over the stadium in order to record three videos for songs from their new album, which will be released later this year.

They have previously played on the pitch before Wire games and at events including the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation’s annual beer festival.

Warrington Guardian:

Lead guitarist and singer Steve Nixon said: "We’ve been very lucky to have a great relationship with the Wolves over the years, from playing on the pitch to entertaining on matchdays and at Foundation events such as the beer festivals.

"As the stadium is in lockdown it was the ideal opportunity to do something special."

Havoc51’s new release will follow their 2018 album Bourbon Ramblings, which received radio play on 90 stations worldwide and saw the trio featured in industry magazines in the UK, USA and Canada.

Bass player Antony Nixon added: "We are all massive Wire fans, and to use the stadium the way we did was incredible.

"We set up two sound stages, one in the South Stand concourse and one on the pitch – which gave us the perfect light and sound to create three great videos.

"We can’t wait for Super League to return, and hopefully we will get the chance to entertain the Wire faithful again."
