WARRINGTON Wolves star Josh Charnley landed a huge catch during a fishing trip with former England international footballer Bobby Zamora.

The Wire winger is a keen angler, having taken up the hobby as a youngster.

And he has landed a new personal best catch of 33.9lb while fishing alongside the ex-Fulham, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur striker.

In a post on Instagram, Charnley said: “Really can't thank @foxmcspod and @bobby.zamora25 for inviting me down and fishing alongside them.

“Buzzing to share this moment with them – an early birthday present.”

A video on the 28-year-old Instagram story then showed the Wolves flyer releasing his fish back into the wild.
