A DRIVER who picked up two passengers from Ammanford were caught 'taking a spin' to Pembrokeshire.
Police working to reinforce the 'stay home, stay safe' message turned round the driver from Neath.
Pembrokeshire Roads Policing Unit stopped the man's BMW car at Kilgetty on Wednesday evening.
Posting on Twitter, they said that the driver originally said he was heading home to Fishguard.
They added: "It was soon ascertained he'd actually come for a spin from Neath, having picked his two passengers up from Ammanford en-route.
"All three issued with FPN's (fixed penalty notices), vehicle turned around.
"Please stay at home wherever possible and work with your local officers to keep our communities as safe as we can."
