AN AMMAN Valley community library is holding a mammoth book sale this weekend.
Over 2,000 used books will be available to purchase at the Community Library in Gwaun cae Gurwen this Saturday, February 29 from 12-3pm.
A local history exhibition will also take place alongside the sale in the community hall on New Road, showing some of the old photographs and research the local history group have been working on.
Lucy Harrison, Coordinator at Y Lolfa, said: "We are raising funds to help us to keep the library running. There will be a huge variety of books on offer at bargain prices from as little as 50p so please come along to support us and take a book - or three - home."
Entrance is free and refreshments including tea, coffee, soft drinks and hot dogs and cakes will be available.
