AN Antiques and vintage fair is set to return to Llandeilo next month.

The Antiques and Vintage fair will be held in the Civic Hall on March 7.

The fair provides visitors with a chance to view a range of well maintained antiques, many of which are available to purchase at affordable prices.

A spokesman for the fair said: “You will always find something interesting at the Llandeilo Antiques and Vintage fair.

“The diversity of stands on display and the wide range is extensive and always eye catching.

“The fair has grown in popularity with record numbers being recorded at the last fair in December.

“Whether hunting at the antique fair for enjoyment, or surfing for just the right item for a loved one or finding that one thing you have been searching for ages, the fair provides the ideal shopping experience.

“This successful fair can be located in the heart of the busy town of Llandeilo, close to the main car park.

“Here you will find a bustling ,vibrant fair with lots of antiques and vintage to wet your appetite.

“The fair now includes a vintage element with a touch of retro.”

There are plenty of Welsh highlights to pick from at the Fair, including original Welsh watercolour or oil paintings, Gwili pottery, and highly sought after Ewenny pottery.

Several interesting paintings and prints will be show cased on Alistair and Helens stand.

There will be a selection of Welsh paintings also on display at the fair.

One painting on display, entitled Moonlit Mumbles , is by the well known artist Alf Parkman dated 1892.

Alfred Edward Parkman (1852-1930) was a Bristol based topographical painter and the son of painter Henry Spurrier Parkman. He moved to Swansea in the mid 1880s and became one of the founding members of the Swansea Art Society.

He painted many topographical views of Bristol, the South West and South Wales.

Also displayed will paintings by the Pontawe artist Lynford Jones and paintings by Gareth Thomas.

There will also be a number of displays of toys and vintage clothes, kitchenalia, up cycled and pre loved furniture, paintings and prints,and an impressive display of books, quality jewellery, watches and clocks, silver and curios.

The fair will be catered with a number of homemade snacks and refreshments which will be available to purchase on the day.

Doors for the Antiques and Vintage Fair at Civic Hall, Llandeilo, on Saturday, March 7, opens at 10am and will run until 4pm.

Admission to the fair costs £1.
