Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a collision on the M3 near Hook last Sunday.

The driver struck the 38-year-old man from Southampton just after 10pm on February 16 whilst driving in lane two of the motorway near junction five.  

Hampshire Constabulary are investigationg the exact circumstances of the collision and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a man walking on the motorway near the junction five slip road.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident or has seen the man hit by the Ford Mondeo to get in touch.
