A MAN has been arrested after police seized a large amount of cannabis in Ammanford.
The man had tried to escape but was found by Neighbourhood Policing Team officers and a police dog.
His vehicle was also claimed.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police in Ammanford said: "We had a great proactive stop today.
"One male was in custody after making off on foot with a large quantity of cannabis.
"He was quickly found by NPT officers, dog handler Nia and her police dog Bodie.
"One vehicle was seized for driving offences and a quantity of cannabis was taken off the streets."
